How Is Your “Trick or Treat” Treating Your Teeth?

Posted .

Now is the time in the stores to choose your treat for those  “Trick or Treaters” on Halloween.  Family Dentistry would like to remind you that not all treats are the same.  Drs. Ogle, Schmitz, and Hart would like to encourage proper care for our teeth.  So when choosing a treat, you can think outside the box of regular candy.  What about a small drink or water bottle?  Drinks are always a nice addition when the children are working hard to trick or treat most of the evening.  What about a salty snack?  Perhaps a small bag of Goldfish or pretzels.  Instead of a candy bar, how about a granola bar that includes some fiber and protein.  Or even really outside the box could be a festive pencil or pen.  A fun little toy that will last alot longer than a piece of candy is quite the treat that the children are excited to receive.    Stay tuned for more feedback on choosing the “outside of the box”  trick or treat goodie.   Family Dentistry in Newburgh wants to provide great Dental Care for all of their patients and thinking a little differently can make a difference even on Halloween.
