Family Dentistry would like to share some trivia today.  Approximately 50 years ago, people over the age of 65 years old had an average of 7 of their own. Today, people over the age of 65 have an average of 17 of their own.  Do You know what it is that these people over the age of 65 have and the average has increased over the last 50 years?   The answer to this trivia is their own teeth.  Our goal is to continue to increase the average of keeping their own teeth once they are over the age of 65 years old.  The improvements in dental technology over the last 50 years has increased the ability to save your own teeth. Also, drastic improvements and education with hygiene products as well as the proper hygiene techniques has assisted people in keeping their own teeth for longer periods of time.  Drs. Ogle, Schmitz, Hart, and Fickas want to assist in increasing that average for all of our patients by providing Great Dental Care for a Lifetime.
