Dr. F. David Fickas

Frank David Fickas, DDS was born in Evansville, Indiana and currently lives in Boonville. In his youth, Dr. Fickas attained the rank of Life Scout in the Boy Scouts of America organization. Dr. Fickas graduated from Castle High School in 1998. During his junior year of high school he joined the Indiana National Guard as an enlisted forward observer.  Dr. Fickas volunteered for deployments to Bosnia in 2001 and Iraq in 2003.  After his deployments, Dr. Fickas attended the University of Southern Indiana, where he majored in biology and made the dean’s list multiple times for academic honors. Following his graduation in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Fickas moved to Indianapolis to attend the Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated in May 2013.  During his dental education, Dr. Fickas made the dean’s list for academic performance and won multiple awards in the field of dental implants. Dr. Fickas retired from the Army National Guard as a Major in 2019.  Dr. Fickas enjoys being back in his hometown and providing dental care to local families.

Dr. Fickas is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Indiana Dental Association. Dr. Fickas is also a member of the local Select Study Club which is part of the Seattle Study Club® to enhance his knowledge of the evolving field of dentistry.

In his free time, Dr. Fickas enjoys spending time with his family; friends; wife Kristen and their son, Briar. He also spends time back country hunting and fishing every year.
